A Fill after two years??

I am two years out and am almost at my goal weight I had hoped to get there without another fill.  I have not had a fill in about 6 months.  I know I should utilize the band to its full potential but I feel silly having to have a fill this far out.  Who out there has had a fill this far out?  Thanks for any input.

Most people need fills and unfills throughout the life of their band, it's the nature of the beast.

If you need one, go get one.

Why would you not need another fill?? I confused.

It's not at all unusual to need another fill the closer you get to goal. As you lose weight the fat pad around the band goes away so the band gets looser. If it feels like you need a fill by all means get one.

I will be 5 years out next month...I plan on getting a small fill soon....that's the beauty of having the band...it is there to help you out for the LIFE of the band...
