WETEOs Whatcha' Eating Today Everyone

Hit the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on weights.  The yam was delish  - who would have thought it would have tasted so good with just a little spray butter and fresh, ground cinnamon.  I guess it doesn't have to be loaded up with marshmellows and brown sugar!  :)

Wow, even I am amazed at how much fat I ate today.  I made a gluten-free mac & cheese box, added extra butter, browned a little over 1# of hamburger (ground chuck), 3/4 cup of shredded cheese, & a 16 oz can of zucchini, bell pepper diced tomatoes & mixed it all together.  I actually made it last night & have been eating it up since then.  YUM, YUM.  TONS of protein!!!  I know people wonder/ think how can it be anything but unhealthy to eat that much fat??  Where does it go if you don't absorb it?? Isn't it still bad for your veins (plaque) or cholesterol??  The answer is 80% is not absorbed by the intestinal villi/ tract.  It then stays in the intestinal tract right on through my anus into the toilet bowl.  The 20% that is absorbed enters the normal bodily routes, dispersing through the blood.  The other 80% does not.  I have great cholesterol #s (in clinically low range).  Sooooo, please keep that in mind . . . I'm not being unhealthy.  I absorbed 49gms of fat today, which is a lot for me, yet well within the RDA guidelines of what's healthy.
