Do vitamins have to be chewable? Any recommendations?

I've been spending too much money on my chewable vitamins (and vitamins in general).  I'm wondering if I have to remain with the chewable ones and does anyone have some less expensive alternatives?

Thanks!

No, they don't.  Some docs recommend them in the beginning but they don't have to be forever.

Try Centrum or any multi with 100% of the RDA of most things.

I buy Centrum chewables, and purchase all my vitamins at either Sam's or Walmart.  I just had my 5 year labs done and they were really good.

I buy my Sundown perfect iron from pharmacy when they are buy 1 get 1 free.  I get coupons for the chewable centrum and buy them at Walmart.  Vitamin B12 from walmart.  I buy a lot of my vitamins from CVS pharmacy when they are buy 1 get 1 free.

A lot of pharmacies have buy 1 get 1 free and that is the best time to get.  I will probable be switching my chewable centrum to a regular multi vitamin.
