So I went to the ER with really horrible stomach pains. The ER doc felt my tummy and said I think I feel a hernia.....sent me to get an xray and what they found was not a hernia but a BABY!! Yes a baby.....Did a sono and come to find out I am 24 weeks and a day pregnant as of Jan 15th. I have been pregnant for 6 months. My surgery was May 14th 09 and that means I have been pregnant for almost as long as I have had my surgery :(. I have had no weight gain and I don't even look pregnant or do I? I can't believe this and I am not excited I know that sounds awful but it is the truth. I was done having babies and now here I am fixing to have another one in 16weeks.

Umm!!  Wow!!  Yup, that's crazy!  You definitely do NOT look pregnant.  Um...  Wow!!  I think I would have passed out if I got news like that.  24 weeks!  Congratulations!

What a way to find out huh?  I hope all is well with your baby and you too.  I would definately notify your surgeon of this and see what recommendations he/she has for keeping you and your baby healthy through the rest of your pregnancy.

Good luck!

Wow!  You could be on that TLC show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant"!!!!

I bet you'll start feeling more excited in the weeks to come.  How old are your other children?  My children are 8 years apart in age and they just adore each other.  When my youngest arrived, it was a big change.  It had been a long time since we had to deal with diapers, car seats, getting up at night, etc.  I can honestly say though that I can't imagine NOT having him.  He has brought so much joy to our lives and is a true blessing in every way.

What a huge surprise for you.  Give yourself some time to adjust to the news.

I wish you all the best!
So Blessed!

OMG... that is crazy!  That did happen to my secretary years ago.  Her daughter just got a full scholarship to Boston University!  Her life has been so blessed.  I think you will be ecstatic once you have had time to adjust!

That is a crazy way to find out though huh!

Please keep us posted!

God Bless you and your family!

*thud*

You are six months pregnant at 164 lbs and you couldn't tell?

Jesus.

I'm sorry - I have had too many babies - and I can tell at one week.

What I meant to say is --- have you been to the OB yet?  Have you been eating well?  Taking vitamins?  Please take care.
