This one is the one I follow; it allows some veggies and fruit. I don't do the fruit but I do the veggies.

I see the 45 grams of protein supplement.  Is that in addition to the 3 oz. of protein listed below that?  Also can you have more than 45 grams of protein daily?

I believe you should have up to 60 grams of protien a day, so if you only have the 3 oz of protien 5x a day eaten then you need to supplement the remaining 45. I just eat 70 grams of protien a day in real food. I don't do the protein shakes or supplements anymore.

Thanks for responding, I think I will try it, the biggest question that I have is, Diet Soda is listed, what is up with that?  I was told that carbonated beverages are a no-no, has that changed?

I think this diet is also meant for people who are losing weight, but also haven't had weight loss surgery, so diet soda would be ok for those people.

anybody can do the plateau busters. You can actually google it and it will come up. Of course we should stay away from the carbonated beverages still but this is for people who have not had surgery

I might try this eventually.  I have to get up my gumption.

I question the diet soda though. I've been told so many times not to drink anything with carbonation because it could cause band slippage?  Am I right on that?
