is anyone doing weigh****chers with their band?  I never did this diet pre band but am 2 years post op and have not been following the rules and have gained back half the weight i lost initially.  Im getting a fill tomorrow and am ready to get back on track.  I really have no restriciton right now as I had a lot of it taken out.

Thoughts?

First, congrats on getting yourself back on track and reaching out for support.

I am doing Weigh****chers and love it for the tips, support, motivation, accountability, etc.

I think the more we can do - WW, gym, personal trainer, nutritionist, etc with the band, the better we will do!

I started doing WW with the band last year but soon after became pregnant.  I had lost 10 lbs, but would get frustrated that my weight loss was so much slower than when I was doing the low carb.  So now that I've had the baby and am trying to get back on track, I've started doing the low carb stuff again and have lost 4.6 lbs since Tuesday.  I guess that the low carb diet is just my personal preference though.  GOOD LUCK!!!!

I love WW! It's the only program I have seen that helps you live like a normal person without all the crazy diets out there.  I decided to get on it two weeks ago before I start my pre op diet so I don't feel so awful going cold turkey.  So far it's been great, I think you should totally do it!

I have just signed up again to start weigh****chers. I lost 60 lbs last time I tried, the exercise helped too.

I started ww a few weeks ago.  So far so good.  I am much better off with the band and doing ww than before I had the band.  I am losing 2.0 pounds per week but know that will slow down.  My goal is to lose another 40 pounds this year.

Good luck to everyone!

I started WW a week ago Saturday and lost 6 lbs saturday.  However, I overdosed on almondina cookies being snowed in this weekend and am back up 2 lbs.  Trying to stick to it, but those darn 2 lbs are stubborn.  I find it easy to follow WW with the band as hunger is not an issue.  I try to follow the band rules and count points - a good plan, if I say so myself ; )
