Lee,

We'd love to have you join us!  We're a great group of friends who enjoy getting together once each month to share laughter and friendship and give support.  Looking forward to meeting you!

Welcome Lee!  I see your doc is Dr Baggs...is that the same Dr Baggs at Richmond Kaiser?  My doc is Dr Park at that facility.  I look forward to meeting you later this month and finding out what changes Richmond has made since my surgery ;-)

Hi Nancy,

Yes, I'm in the Kaiser Richmond program.  I'm looking forward to meeting local people.  Do you ever go to the Support Group on Wednesday nights?  I have a friend who had RNY with Dr. Park in June.  I actually asked her if she'd like to come as well.  I'll update my RSVP after I hear from her.

I have a feeling the program hasn't changed much since you were there, except that in November they started offering the Sleeve (which I'm having) as an option.

See you at Mimi's!

I am 11 days out.  When did you start to lose your hair?  I have normally very thick hair....and having had chemo 9 years ago, it never dawned on me that we are talking so much hair loss that I might need to dig out the old "chemo wig and/or hats"!

Mine started falling out about a month and a half or so after surgery.  Now it comes out in handfuls when I wa****  I always had fine but not thin hair......now its very thin :-(
I've found a nice hat but next step is wig!  Im using Biotin and Nioxin.
