Sarah Galloway Psychologist PhD

Dr. Galloway received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia. She completed her residency in Clinical Psychology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at MUSC in 2011. Subsequently, she joined the faculty at MUSC, serving as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She has specialized in health promotion, disease prevention, and behavioral treatment of general medical conditions. She conducted research on ethnic differences in obesity and factors that promote success after bariatric surgery.
