Me Only Better is run by Dr. Candice Seti, Psy.D., known in the community as "The Weight Loss Therapist." Dr. Seti is a California-licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer. Dr. Seti received her Doctorate of Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2005 and is certified as a Nutrition Coach by the National Association of Fitness Certifications, and as a Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise.
Dr.Seti is renowned for her expertise in applying cognitive therapy to weight loss and weight management and extensive knowledge of nutrition and exercise applications to a weight management program. This is an area Dr. Seti has been passionate for many years after her own weight loss experience.
Because healthy sleep is such an important part of weight management, Dr. Seti is also a Certified Insomnia Treatment Clinician and offers 6-week insomnia treatment programs online for anyone that struggles with sleep issues.
In addition, Dr. Seti places an emphasis on applying cognitive-behavioral therapy to her work with women, teen, and the LGBT population, focusing on anxiety, self-esteem, body image issues, eating disorders, and relationship issues.
Dr. Seti is also an internationally best selling author. Her most recent book, Shatter The Yoyo, introduces her revolutionary non-diet based weight management program to held people end their dependence on diets and stop the yoyo dieting for good. Her previous book, Parenting BootCamp is a guidebook for new parents to help establish structure and discipline in their children's first five years.
Dr. Seti also has extensive expertise in working with military families and was recently featured in the film, Who Will Stand for Us, a documentary focusing on the mental health issues associated with war veterans.
