Ethan Philpott Plastic Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Philpott grew up in Massachusetts where he attended Phillips Academy Andover.  At graduation, he was awarded the Yale Bowl as the school’s top scholar-athlete.  He still holds several records for track and field for Shot Put (59 ft. 2.5 in.) and up until recently Discus (168 ft. 4 in.).  He then went on to Harvard where he competed in both varsity ice hockey and varsity track and field.  From Harvard, he went on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He was awarded a merit-based scholarship after his first year.  In his fourth year, he was chosen to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society based upon superior academic performance.  After medical school, he began and completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Missouri.  He served as chief resident in 2008-2009.  He has a breadth of experience within the field of plastic surgery.  Dr. Philpott is board certified by American Board of Plastic Surgery.  He comes to us, most recently, from a private practice in Georgia.  Dr. Philpott and his wife Megan enjoy spending time with their two dogs, hiking and look forward to life in the Phoenix area.
