About Me
Megan Moore, RD, CSOWM, CD, CLT is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Washington State University 2013, she has passionately served the bariatric surgery community by providing nutrition education, leading support groups, providing cooking demonstrations, and running social media communities. Additionally, she has had the privilege of speaking at various conferences to hundreds of medical practitioners on the topic of obesity science and nutrition intervention. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Megan currently lives in Seattle where she owns a private practice, Savored Nutrition, and contributes content for www.MyBariatricDietitian.com, a website designed to help patients who are preparing for or have undergone weight loss surgery. In 2019 she published her first book, The Complete Cookbook and Meal Plan: Recipes and Guidance for Life Before and After Surgery.
