Kristin Clowes Dietitian / Nutritionist RD, LDN

Kristin is one of BSNC’s clinical nutrition specialists. Kristin is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Foods and a Minor in Health Promotion. She completed her dietetic internship through Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.  She is commissioned as a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Licensed Nutritionist/Dietitian within the state of North Carolina.

Kristin is experienced providing nutrition counseling and assessment within a variety of disease states and life stages. She got her start working with child/infant and maternal nutrition in addition to private counseling for adult weight and diabetes management. Kristin’s guiding principle is to enjoy what you like in moderation and mindfulness. She works to provide realistic and long-term solutions for better eating in the midst of our demanding lives.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys volleyball, running, and experimenting with new recipes. She finds most joy spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her chocolate lab Luna.

Nutrition appointments with Kristin are available at our Cary and Clayton locations for all BSNC patients.
