Katie Horner Dietitian / Nutritionist MS, RD, LD, NASM-CPT, CES

Katie Horner is a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of South Carolina and originally from the Northern Virginia area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech University. She then completed her dietetic internship with the South Carolina Department of Health right here at St. Francis.  Katie has completed her Masters in Exercise Science and is a certified personal trainer.  She uses her knowledge to further assist our patients with a healthy nutrition and exercise balance. As the St. Francis Surgical Weight Loss dietitian, she constantly strives to provide individual service that focuses on each patient’s unique needs. Together, Katie and her patients develop a lifestyle that addresses their goals and can be adapted as progress is made.   Katie enjoys many activities outside of work, including swimming, playing volleyball and hiking.
