Julia Levine Dietitian / Nutritionist RD, CSOWM, LD

Julia Levine, RD, CSOWM, LD is a Registered Dietitian and Board certified Obesity and Weight Management Specialist. She holds her undergraduate nutrition degree from New York University and completed her clinical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital in Boston. Prior to her joining NewStart, Julia worked at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as a clinical dietitian, helping people with a variety of illnesses learn how to use food to control their disease symptoms and improve their quality of life. Julia believes that what we eat affects not only our bodies, but our psychological well-being as well. She is passionate about helping individuals find the joy in eating by making small lifestyle changes that overtime lead to a healthy, loving relationship with food and our bodies. She is an active member of both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the St. Louis Dietetic Association. “It is such a privilege to work with people who are determined and motivated to break old habits to better their lives and health.
