Dr. Francisco Gallegos has great experience in the Specialty of Internal Medicine with sub specialty in Cardiology. During his 29 years as Internist, he has successfully practiced private medicine in hospitals such as Hospital Angeles Torreón, besides working for important national companies. Former Chief of the Internal Medicine Department of Hospital de Especialidades No. 71 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Torreón, Coahuila, he supervised services of cardiology, intensive therapy and hematology. Following this, he was Head of the Division of Cardio-Pneumology at the same hospital, in which he oversaw services of cardiovascular cardiology, angiology and intensive coronary care, until his retirement in 2011.  Dr. Gallegos works with Obesity Care Group to evaluate and assure that all of our severely obese patients are in excellent condition for the surgery, who should be treated with special care since they present important related conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
