Dr. Reginald L. Griffin, Bariatric Surgeon Reginald L. Griffin, MD, FACS, FASMBS is a board-certified surgeon, specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He is the founder of Concierge Bariatrics, located in Ocala, Florida. Dr. Griffin earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean. He also completed his residency in general surgery and a fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. As a medical student, Dr. Griffin spent time with the Himalayan Health Exchange, where he provided medical care to remote villages in the Indo-Tibetan Borderlands. Dr. Griffin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS). He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
