Dr. Stone is from the Northeast and began her medical training at Drexel University College of Medicine, in Philadelphia. She fell in love with Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery during her surgical training at Wellspan York Hospital in York, PA. As she advanced further into her career she realized the profound impact that she could have on her patient’s well-being and she became passionate about connectingwith them and making a difference in their lives. This led to a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, ranked among the best hospitals in the nation. Dr. Stone is a Board Certified General & Bariatric Surgeon. She is an active member of American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons; Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and a member of The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Stone routinely performs a broad range of advanced laparoscopic bariatric and revisional surgeries. She strives to help her patients have a seamless preoperative introduction, a supportive and pleasant surgical experience, and effortless recovery and postoperative journey.
