Francisco Jacome Bariatric Surgeon MD FACS

Dr. Francisco Jacome, MD Received his undergraduate and medical degree in Ecuador at the Catholic University. He came to the United States and completed his surgical training at East Tennessee State University and then performed a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at the University of Miami. After graduation, in 2012, Dr. Jacome moved to Augusta GA to join the team of bariatric professionals at Live Healthy MD. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He has particular interests in advanced laparoscopy, bariatric surgery, endoscopy and reflux disease.
