Peter Ng Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS, FASMBS

Peter C. Ng, MD, FACS, FASBMS is a board-certified bariatric surgeon and brings his expertise to REX Bariatric Specialists. He is an expert in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery and a teacher of single-incision and hidden-scar laparoscopic technique. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts at Davidson College and went on to the University of North Carolina where he studied pre-med for two years before going on to earn his medical degree at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. His internship and residency was completed at Brody School of Medicine where he also served as Senior Resident and Administrative Chief.
