Brenda Cacucci Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Brenda M. Cacucci, M.D., an Indiana native, is a board certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery and advanced minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgery. She is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.  Dr. Cacucci earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her surgical residency training at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She has been in private practice since 2000. Dr. Cacucci performs a wide variety of laparoscopic bariatric procedures, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, revisional surgery, adjustable gastric banding, and robotic-assisted bariatric surgery. She also performs gastric balloon and gastric outlet reduction procedures. Dr. Cacucci is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified with the American Board of Surgery.  Dr. Cacucci is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and serves as the Indiana Access to Care Representative for the society.
