A native of Tappahannock, VA, Janet has worked in the medical field for over 15 years in the areas of Pediatrics, Urology, Neurology and Ear, Nose & Throat as a Medical Front Desk Specialist. She began working in Bariatrics in Richmond, VA in 2012. Janet also earned her Certified Nurse’s Aide License in 2003. Janet, as the office’s Bariatric Coordinator and is responsible for working with patients from their attendance of an informational seminar to insurance authorization. Janet helps patients complete the criteria necessary for authorization of weight loss surgery. Janet received the Employee of the Month for October 2016. Janet is a wife and mother of sons Christian and Tyrelle and daughter, Jaelynn and Grammy of 2 grandsons (Xavier and Ayden). She and her family moved to Georgia in July 2015 and has been with Johns Creek Surgery/Atlanta Bariatrics since that time and as the popular cliche goes, the rest is history!
