WLIA's co-founding surgeons, Dr. John DeBarros and Dr. Michael Orris were named Phoenix Magazine's "TopDocs" in 2010, 2011 and 2012. They are both recognized as Bariatric Surgery "Center of Excellence" surgeons, and retain priveleges at several of the area's most prestigious hospitals. With two other surgeons on board - Dr. Anthony Galitsky, Dr. Jason Richardson,  and Dr. Thomas Buddensick WLIA is one of the largest bariatric practices in the area.
