Steward Center for Weight Control The Steward Center for Weight Control is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program committed to providing the highest quality of care and compassion in the communities where our patients live. Providing excellence in patient care, our team of leading experts are dedicated to working closely with each patient, providing education on weight loss methods and helping each individual decide which options are best for their goals and health. With our main Steward Center for Weight Control location at the prestigious St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts, our team believes in providing personalized and trusted care that is convenient and supportive of our patients' efforts. Therefore, we decided to send our physicians and providers out to their local neighborhoods! We have expanded and opened four more Steward Center for Weight Control locations in Massachusetts including the Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Hawthorn Medical Associates in Dartmouth, and Prima CARE in Fall River. Our St. Elizabeth's location is proud to be accredited through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). This nationally recognized designation recognizes our commitment to excellent surgical outcomes, patient safety, and quality care. We are also a fully-accredited, Level 1 facility under the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to that, we are a Blue Distinction+ Center and an Optum Center of Excellence. Weight Loss Surgery in Massachusetts Our team of surgeons, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and behavioral therapists will work with you to determine your best weight loss plan. We offer a wide range of surgical and medical options to help our patients lose weight and live healthier lives.
