Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
Hi my name is Rita I'm a 43 year old mother and wife I have been overweight all my life. I have tried everything out there from weight watchers to Jenny Craig to every crazy fad diet there is. I loose 20 and gain 50 and so on and on. I'm sure everyone on here knows what I'm talking about. I have thought about WLS for a couple years and now and I'm finally ready so I meet all the guidelines for my Ins co and I am doing the 6mo diet trial required by the Ins co and I saw the psychologist and she cleared me. I have gone to some of the other required classes and appts so Sept. 7th will be 6mo for my diet trial so I guess they will tell me a date hopefully soon after that. It seems like 6mo is so far away but my husband keeps reassuring me it will be here in no time (I hope he is right lol) well that's a little about me. Wish me luck I'm nervous and excited all at once! Thanks, Rita
What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?
Feeling so uncomfortable and out of shape, not being able to do normal things with my kids and having health issues because of the weight.
If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?
waiting for a date
