What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Becoming a hermit. Never wanting to anywhere The feeling of being trapped in my own body

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Spending time with grandchildren. I have much more energy

Describe your experience with getting insurance approval for surgery. What advice, if any, do you have for other people in this stage?

What was your first visit with your surgeon like? How can people get the most out of this meeting?

I was surprised his matter of fact he was and scared the hell out of me with the dangers ad risks

What made you finally decide to have the surgery?

My 3 year ok'd granddaughter asking me why are you fat! Broke my heart

How did you decide which proceedure to have?

T I wanted the best

What fears did you have about having complications or even dying from from the surgery, and what would you tell other people having the same fears now?

I don't want to die but without this surgery I will die too soon

How did your family and friends react to your decision? Would you have communicated anything differently if you could now? How supportive were they after your surgery?

Some supportive some downright mean I would keep to myself and wife only

How did your employer/supervisor react to your decision? What did you tell him/her? How long were you out of work?

They don't know none of their business

What was it like attending your first information seminar on weight loss surgery? Were you glad you attended? if so, why?

Great felt like I was with family. All I kept thinking is wow these people are hurting so much
