Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have always been fluffy for as long as i can remember. I have tried every diet known to man, even under dr care. yea i was able to lose a few pounds and then gain back twice as much as i lost. As i started to have children my weight just got worst. I was told my weight had cased me to be infertile about 3 yrs ago and i had to go on clomid to have my youngest daughter. At 310 pounds i could not deliver her i had to c section which caused a lot of issues. now they tell me my heart is surrounded by fat and is having a hard time pumping and i keep passing out because of it. I was told my insurance paid for WLS, so i started looking in to it. i was excited from the being. not only to be able to lose the weight but to be able to keep it off was a dream come true.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Not being able to have fun with my 3 daughters. I get very tried and out of breathe very easily. not being able to dress my age because they dont make clothes my size in my age group.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

not had surgery yet, still wanting to complete allthe things required medically
