Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

After getting a broken back from a drunk driver 20+ years ago I stopped working out. Went through life eatting and drinking beer and basically not giving a crap. Met my wife. She had our beautiful daughter Sierra. I wanted to get healthy. I had a good reason to. Lost weight with medifast. Put it all back on. Beer drinking BBQing in denile party animal. A friend told me about his diabieties. Said I had it coming. Well that's scary. Got an inheritence after losing my mother. Decided not only to get the sleeve for me but my wife also. Going in Monday 6/22/12. Once I try it out for a couple months. If all goes OK, wife is next. When she's skinny again......I'm going to chase her around the house!!!!!! NAKED!!!!!!! LOL

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Bad hip, back pain, embarrassment. Feeling tired all the time. No energy. Can’t excel at my business. Need to get back into life.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Have it tomorow
