Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I was also very outgoing and flamboyant to make up for my lack in self esteem, I was always the joker and always made fun of myself before others got the chance too. I was bullied very badly throughout my childhood and became a very angry person. I felt no one understood me or heard my plea's for help.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes when I was 13 years old always feeling uncomfortable, tired and drained. Missing out on my teenage and early 20's years.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Being off Insulin Injections, less body aches, buying clothes in a regular store and socializing more.
