Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have been eating all my life. Food was always there for me. My a-ha moment came when I realized that my problem was never about the food.It was why I was eating.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

For me the psychological part of being overweight was horrible. I was depressed and very hard of myself.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I am able to walk faster, go to the gym, bend, stretch, walk up stairs without trouble, I am able to move more and I have more confidence in myself.
