Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I am an eater. There are no true triggers for me. I eat sometimes even when I am not hungry. I am also a closet eater. I guess I thought if others didn't see me eat, then maybe it somehow didn't count. Dieting to lose 20 only to gain 20 plus. I am ready for a change nowl

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

My children have never known anything but a fat momma. I don't like myself. I hate not being able to tie my shoes without being completely out of breath, and I hate being out of breath after walkng from the car to the grocery store, or any other store.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Well I am only 3 days post op, so I am still really tired. I will update as things change. Hopefully this will be soon.
