Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I have been overweight since I was a child. There is not a diet that I have not been on. I manage to lose weight, but unable to maintain weight lost. I am ready to use this Tool to help me finally obtain my desired size and maintain that size by making lifestyle changes throughout the process. That is the only way this surgery will work. While my body is transitioning, I will be mentally transitioning as well." Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” ? Albert Einstein. I will finally rid myself of all the bad food habits that have kept me yo yo-ing most of my life.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

The lack of stamina, the disrespect from normal sized people. Being the one with such a Pretty Face to be fat. Not being able to fit in a seat without having someone skinny sitting next to me.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?
