Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I was a typical emotional eater! happy lets go eat, sad gotta eat, mad, EAT! i tried so many different avenues to lose the weight, wnt to gym, support groups, portion control etc... i always failed! I never thought i needed to change my mindset! I would get upset because I was heavy so what did I do? go eat!

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Not being able to fit, in clothes, in seats, on rides, everything!

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I am only 3 months post op but so far, i am enjoying the clothes fitting, I have way more energy and food doesn't control my life it is merely fuel to keep my body running, what food is suppose to meant for!
