Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I am a 30 year old woman. I have been over weight all my life. Honestly speaking I am very happy with myself. I have a great family and tons of friends and they are all amazing..
I have always been very active, go to the gym at least 3 days a week.
However weight loss has been difficult.
My family history is the main reason as to why I am considering doing the surgery, diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, everything.
SO that is the main reason for the consideration.
My best friend is also under going surgery in a few more weeks.
I also know many that have done the lap band, however if i consider the surgery I want to go through completely, all the way
What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?
Being over weight is not easy. Chairs at times are tight, seats on the airplanes aren't always so accommodating; I hate asking for the extenders.
I love theme parks and usually go to great adventures every year. However, i havent been there in over 10 years because the last time I went i could not get on one of the rides because of my size. I never went back.
If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?
I have not done the surgery yet.
