Feel ing like everyone was staring at you for the way you look. And also having a hard time sitting in booths at restuarants.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Tie my shoes again!

How did you first find out about bariatric surgery and what were your initial impressions of it?

My cousin had it done. At first I thought it was the easy way out. Then I seen what she went through and there is nothing easy about it. It is a tool used to help you control your eating that is all.

It only took 10 working days.

What was your first visit with your surgeon like? How can people get the most out of this meeting?

Very good. I was there 4 days. Toiletries.

None.

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

Very nervous but very happy. I coped with anxiety by praying and talking to my husband and family.

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

Once a month at the hospital that does the WLS. It is pretty helpful so far.

It is about 8 inches and it is what I expected.
