Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I can remember being 10 yrs old and would hide from passing cars on the highway because I didnt want them to see me because I was fat. I was in the 4th grade and we all had to get weighed in school and she annonced my weight 152 lbs infront of the line of kids. This was the real beginning of my tourment. I have been on diet pills since I was 12 off and on. Trying all the diets ect. Even tryed suicide. I am nothing but a big fat burden on my husband and kids. I cant be a real mom or wife and I cant work and help support our family and they do without alot because of me. If Iget sick ect due to my weight it takes money from the family as we cant afford insurance at $450.00 a mo and only 1 income.
