make a list of questions before you go so you will get answers, do research also before you go so you will be an informed patient

ins would not pay for lap band

did not tell work, but took vacation.

What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

hospital was good. bring comfortable robe and slippers for walks

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

no

very tired, and worn out.

What was your actvity level in the days and weeks after surgery?

very tired, but did do my walking

What vitamins and/or dietary supplements have you taken since your surgery?

multivitamin, b 12 and biotin

What side effects (nausea, vomiting, sleep disturbace, dumping, hair loss etc.) were worse for you? For how long after surgery did they persist? How did you cope with them?

dumping was horrible. I made sure I only did that once!!

What was the worst part about the entire bariatric surgery process?

pain after procedure

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

small and unnoticable

In a plateau now, stuck at 140 lbs
