ALWAYS TIRED NEVER WANTING TO DO ANYTHING BUT EAT

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

LOTS OF THINGS PEOPLE STARING AT YOU,NOT BEING ABLE TO TIE YOUR OWN SHOES,OR BUY ANYTHING IN STYLE BECAUSE YOU DONT GET TO SHOP AT REGULAR STORES LIKE OTHER PEOPLE

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

TYING MY SHOES,WALKING, FLYING THE KITE WITH THE KIDS AND GOING TO DO MORE THINGS WITH MY CHILDREN INSTEAD OF TELLING THEM NO IM TIRED

How did you first find out about bariatric surgery and what were your initial impressions of it?

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS A DOCTOR AND HE CAME TO ME AND SAID HE WAS WORRIED ABOUT ME AND THAT HIS WIFE KEPT HAVING THE SAME DREAM ALMOST EVERY NIGHT AND IN THAT DREAM I WOULD DIE FROM HEART ATTACK.IT MADE A BIG IMPACT ON ME TO NO SOMEONE WAS REALLY WORRIED ME.SO I STUDIED ABOUT THE SURGURY OFF AND ON FOR THE NEXT YEAR AND IN THAT YEAR I GAINED ANOTHER 80LBS.

What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL 3 DAYS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO ME WERE HAVING NICE COMFORTABLE CLOTHS TO WHERE.

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

YES I HAD A MUSCLE CRAMP THAT DID NOT GO AWAY FOR 1 MONTH IT HURT SO BAD THAT DOCTOR WAS GIVING MORPHINE EVERY 6 HOURS.MY OPERATION TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED AN EXTRA 1 1/2 HOURS.

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

I FELT CALM UNTIL THE DAY OF SURGURY.THEN I GOT A LITTLE NERVOUS

What is your scar like? Is this what you expected?

I HAVE HARDLY ANY SCARS I HAD THE LAPERSCOPIC SURGURY DONE.

Please describe any plateau experiences you have had since surgery.

WELL THERE ARE MANY I CAN TIE MY OWN SHOES NOW I ENJOY WALKING NOW BEFORE I COULD NOT EVEN MAKE IT AROUND THE BLOCK WITHOUT STOPPING 2 OR 3 TIMES.THE WEIGHT HAS SLOWED DOWN A LITTLE I MEAN I AM ONLY 36 DAYS POST OP AND HAVE LOST 43 LBS. NOW THAT FEELS GREAT!!!!!

Do you notice people treating you any differently now?

YES PEOPLE KEEP ASKING WHAT I DID TO MYSELF AND I REPLY I AM TAKING CARE OF MYSELF AND REGAING MY SELF ESTEEM
