Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

i was heavey all my life i tried all different diet's and they din't work for me.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

my health problem's and not able to do alot of stuff.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

alot of walking around

How did you first find out about bariatric surgery and what were your initial impressions of it?

my sister had it a while back and i saw how good it work for her . my impression's of it is wondering if it would work for me.

What was your stay in the hospital like? How long where you there? What things are most important to bring?

my hospital stay was great. only 1 day. clothes to go home in.

Did you have any complications from the surgery? If so, how did you deal with them?

no

In the weeks after you got your surgery date, how did you feel? How did you cope with any anxiety you might have felt?

in week's after my surgery i was up and around . i didn't have any anxiety at all.

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

i have the cooperstownwls support group twice a month and online also. it is so important to have support before and after surgery because you will need it.

What is your scar like? Is this what you expected?

there very little one's and they go away after awhile.

Please describe any plateau experiences you have had since surgery.

i have gained about 6 pound's 8 week's out of surgery but had tonsil surgery around that time and lost 7 pound's.
