someone working with my husband had lost 170lbs and gave the literature to my husband for me

got certified with all the prerequisites and my insurance approved, virtually painless!

What was your first visit with your surgeon like? How can people get the most out of this meeting?

no complications

had no anxiety and i felt great

sore, but, that's normal

had certain stage restrictions but by day 14 on full bariatriac food.

What was your actvity level in the days and weeks after surgery?

went for a walk the same day of surgery

What vitamins and/or dietary supplements have you taken since your surgery?

multivitamin and calcium citrate

What side effects (nausea, vomiting, sleep disturbace, dumping, hair loss etc.) were worse for you? For how long after surgery did they persist? How did you cope with them?

none

What was the worst part about the entire bariatric surgery process?

knowing that i won't be able to eat like I did

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?

have gone to support groups, they are very helpful if you have any questions

What is your scar like? Is this what you expected?

all healed, better than expected
