Question:
Is there a difference between Greenville Gastric Bypass and RNY.

The Greenville Gastric Bypass was developed years ago at the East Carolina University. Does anyone know what the difference if any between this and the RNY?    — Susan R. (posted on January 16, 2001)

I had the Bypass in Greenville and I am almost 5yrs out. I have maintained my weight loss to this day. The bypass is RYN all the way and not a modified VBG. I had over three ft of intestine bypassed. If you have any questions on my procedure please email me.
