Question:
Had a GYN appointment yesterday, could she have hurt something when mashing on stomac
When my doctor new I had Gastric Bypass, and when she was mashing around on my stomach, could she have ruptured something? Because now I feel like I have eaten a full course meal with desert. When in reality I have had 2 bites of a breakfast buritto, cup of diced peaches, and 2 bites of a chicken nugget. I'm worried I've never felt like this I'm little over 2 months post-op. — Snowflake_Princess (posted on May 8, 2003)

Well, I don't know what your appointment was for (annual or
problem-related), but the OB/GYN's usually don't go near the stomach. They
palpitate (sp) your uterus (which is well below your new and old stomach).
So, unless she went higher up for some reason, you should be fine. Do you
normally eat that amount of food? If you do, and you've always felt fine,
it certainly wouldn't hurt to contact your surgeon's office (to be safe).
If the amount/consistency of food is more than you normally eat, than it's
probably just your pouch adjusting....I'm sure you're fine. Best of luck!

I had a doctor app. last week with a chiropractor for my back. Since my
app. I notice I can't eat my 4 oz. of food.
Maybe this is nothing but fear but I wonder if I should of waited longer
before going to the chiropractor. I understand your where you are coming
from and hopefully its
only a fear thing with us. Good luck with your weight loss.
