By the time you mush up all those potatoes they are pretty much liquid by
the time they get to your stomach so they fill up your small intestine then
your stomach and then they can also move up your asopagast(spelling?)
anyway to make it short a cup of mashed patatoes at one setting should be
sufficient eat slow and don't drink with them.

The issue is not the mashed potatoes. This issue is - while you're eating
those mashed potatoes, are you getting your protein. In order to
maximizeyiur weight loss, you must eat protein! The potaotes and other
things should be after thoughts. Work on your water and protein. Good
luck, Nancy.

You can eat a bowl of them because they are mushy and go right through you.
It's like soup, cottage and riccotta cheeses, etc... Anything with a
soupy, mushy consistency with go through quicker and you be able to eat
more of it. Mashed potatoes really don't have much nutritional value for
us (protein). This is not something that I choose to eat that often. It's
high in calories, I can eat a lot of it and it doesn't have protein. In the
beginning I ate it somewhat because it was one of the few things I could
eat. Now that I can eat anything, I try to stick to foods that take a lot
to break up (chicken, fish, veggies) because they keep the tummy distended
longer, and keep you satisfied. Also, as others have said, try to limit
carbs (Not get rid of them completely) because they do slow us down!
