Question:
A suggestion fro dry mouth....
I have not had the surgery yet, still researching surgeons. I do know of something for dry mouth. My mom was on hospice before she died of cancer and she had a terrible time with dry mouth from the meds and so forth. The hospice nurse supplied me with these swabs(little sponges on a stick) that you put this liquid stuff on to swirl up around the gums and teeth and top of mouth. It seemed to make a world of difference. If you have a hospice care center in your area, maybe contact them to find out how to get them. — [Anonymous] (posted on July 22, 2001)

You can also get them from the hospital where you have the surgery. Mine
supplied spearmint ones and they really did work great. Once home another
suggestion for dry mouth is sugar free popsicles. It takes awhile to get
through a small popsicle so I place it in a paper cup and when I've had
enough and put it in the freezer for later.
