Question:
I know that obesity and morbid obesity are seperate diseases...

So is mobid obesity and super morbid obesity seperate diseases, thus seperate codes or is "super" just a phrase? Anyone know of any statistics on super morbid obesity since now that the BMI chart has changed I have to change my BMI from morbid to super morbid and change my appeal letter. What I was told was that Super obesity starts at a BMI of 50 and keeps right on going. If your BMI is over 50, it couldn't hurt to change that on your appeal letter. <BR> Good Luck!!
