My personal #1 is ProScore 100 chocolate, made with 6-8 oz of water and
about 1/2C of ice chips. I hit it with a hand blender til it's still kind
of chunky with ice. NUM! If I'm on the go, I use ProBlend 55, but half
choc, half vanilla in about 4 oz of cold water. I prefer it with ice, but
if I have to stop and fill along the road, any water will do. I also use
Cheramino, but I doubt this would be listed as anyone's
"favorite"! Any of these strike a bell?

This is my morning protien drink with the blessings of my nutritionist: 8
oz. skim milk, 8 oz. sugar free yogurt, one envelope SF Carnation Instant
Breakfast, 1 scoop Designer Protien Vanilla. I put it in the blender and
it makes about 24 oz., takes 2 hours to drink and has 37 gms of protein and
very little fat and sugar. It's very tasty - you can experiment with
Chocolate CIB and raspberry yogurt, etc. I will, however, be happy to give
this up for scrambled eggs as soon as I can eat soft foods - good luck.

My favorite is Met Rx Protein Plus Milk Chocolate, if you try this make
sure that it is the Protein Plus they have several brand under Met Rx.
It's wonderful. I mix 3 1/2 scoops and 8 ozs of water and get 50 grams of
protein. It has 210 calories. But with the others I tried I was not
drinking my protien they had 170 calories so I figure I am ahead of the
game, if I am drinking all my protein every day. Good luck on your search
for the perfect protein.

I know lots of people talk about the lack of palatability, but I actually
like most of the protein mixes out there. My mix of choice is Designer
Protein (vanilla praline or chocolate.) I have 1 scoop w/ 12oz of water (I
know that seems like a lot, but I like to get in water where I can!) first
thing in the morning and then have 2 scoops w/ 12oz of water right after
working out. Total of 52 grams protein and 270 calories. I try to get in
60-70 grams per day, so the rest I get from food. It can get very
expensive (large container cost 29.99 at GNC and only last 2 weeks) so get
a small container of the ones you want to test until you find that one you
like.

Hey TJ, Just wanted to add my .02 here. I've been searching for a protein
supplement that I like. I went searching at local health food stores and
found some individual packets to try. It was a lot cheaper than committing
the big bucks to buy a whole month's supply at a time. Good thing, too. I
hated them!!! They were soy based and thanks to my new found
friend...Michelle Curran aka Vitalady...I now know the difference. She has
lots of protein supplement choices and offers individual serving sized
samples. I've ordered my samples and am anxiously awaiting my delivery. I
can't wait to try them out. You might want to check out her site
www.vitalady.com She has loads of info. I hope this helps.
