Question:
You'll never guess....
first of all let me thank all of you who responded to my question about how persistant to be with the ins company. You have always been so helpful and supportive. I got home late today(about 1/2 hr ago) and listened to my voice mail. Guess what was on there? A call from Cigna telling me that they had taken my stuff to the medical reviewer and they were just calling me to let me know that I AM APPROVED!!!! Hooray. I guess being a pain in the butt and getting sorta, well, b****y didn't hurt. Now I am scared and excited that this is going to actually come to fruition for me. My new life is ahead. Now we need a date. I will let yall know when it is . Again, thanks for all of the support Valerie ([email protected]) — Valerie B. (posted on April 3, 2000)

Great for you Valerie. I know what you mean about a new life ahead. I went
to my first consultation and the surgeon says as long as I get approval my
surgery will be early May at the latest. I am so happy for you good luck!!!

with this! And dontcha know, I'm waiting for that same call from Cigna

Congratulations, Valerie. I'm so happy you received your approval. Good
for you! You know the Bible says that God helps those that help themselves
so I don't think anyone should EVER apologize or feel bad about standing up
for themselves. Good luck with your future surgery!
Love, Nancy G.
