Question:
How do you keep your moods
I'm doing well--losing well after 8 months, but I do find myself somewhat moody at time, as if I'm not sure about this person I'm becoming. Any words of wisdom? Thanks== — charlene M. (posted on March 12, 2000)

I force myself to get up and out of the house!! I have joined a gym (for
women only) and exercise 5 days a week. I also volunteer at a Christian
radio station, WKES, (owned by the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago). I
have also found that answering questions on this site and going into the
chat room helps me. Lastly, I also volunteer at a local children's hospital
and rock sick babies. I guess the more I focus on others the less I dwell
on myself. I know I have been blessed by this surgery (I had the DS 1-6-00)
and feel I have no reason to keep myself down. Until I can actually go back
to work, keeping as busy as I can within my tolerance is what keeps me on
track.

Great AVA so proud of you. ;-) You know there is a saying
"What a difference a day makes" I think this can apply here...
Yes, it amazing the planning that goes on as the pounds go off. I
went to the Tulsa Home and Garden show today and walked over the whole
thing, I spent 3 1/2 hours there. (all walking with my trusty water
jug with me) I came home sore and tired but I'm already planning my
next outing.
Roberta: thank you for the kinds words that was so sweet...
