Question:
Do I need to go to the dentist 1 month post-op with wn empty stomache?
I went to the dentist today to try to get all my dental work done pre-op - but he still has one tooth to fix. My appointment is 1 month post-op, and as the tooth is on the lower right side I am afraid my very strong gag reflex could cause me to be sick on the dentist. Horrors! Could this be a problem? Anyone have any advice? — Judith D. (posted on December 7, 1999)

Judith,I had a lot of dental work done after my surgery,I just explained to
my dentist how I felt,we came up with a signal when I felt a break was
needed.I would not go with an empty stomach you might feel worse,But it
wasn't really bad,really. Good luck,I'm 9months post-op and feel
wonderful.Denise
