I had my WLS in Mexico due to an exclusion in my policy. My doctor informed me that if RECONSTRUCTIVE (never say plastic, especially to the insurance co.) surgery is medically necessary due to rashes, sores, etc., that insurance must pay for it if there is no exclusion. We'll see though, I'm going to apply for approval in May to see what I can get covered!?!?! Good luck to you.
