Question:
I just thought you guys would enjoy a poem
My 11 year old son wrote me a poem. Of course, he didn't give it to me until I got home from the hospital (would have showed it to the staff at the hospital, smile). I warn you that I'm typing it the way he did so there are misspellings and typos but you'll get the meaning. It goes: Do you recognize me? I am as smart as schoolbook. I am so cleaver I out smart my self. I am so kind to my 8 children. Do you recognize me? I am so small I can hide in a doorknob. I am as beautiful as the sunset. I have brown eyes and I wear makeup. Do you recognize me? I am a mother to 8,000 children. I am so helpful they call me nurse kindness. I like to play my flute for my family. I am my mom. Isn't that cute. Keep smiling, hugs, Terri (Lap RnY 12/11/2003). — tinky471 (posted on December 18, 2003)

That was one of the cutest poems I've read in a long time - if only our
hearts and minds can stay as innocent as those of a child. Thanks for
sharing.
